Children's Residential Registered Manager

**Job Type**: Permanent, 40 hour per week.

**Salary**: Negotiable + £2.5K Ofsted Bonus
Location: County Durham
Brook Street Social Care are currently working in partnership with a trusted Children's Residential Organisation which provides a bespoke service to children in a nurturing residential environment which is specially designed to help children transition successfulto adulthood.
You will be a Registered Manager opening a brand new, beautiful, 2 bedded home in the County Durham area which will provide therapeutic support to children with EBD backgrounds. You will be responsible for ensuring that the management of the home meets andexceeds the requirements of the Quality Standards for Children's Homes and attains consistently 'good' and 'outstanding' Ofsted gradings.
Experience as an Ofsted Registered Children's manager is desired however there is the opportunity for a high performing Deputy Manager to succeed in this role. You will have pre-existing management skills, excellent communication and organisation skills aswell as an understanding of Ofsted and current legislation.
You will have a minimum of 4 years experiences working within a children's residential setting, as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience at a management level within children's residential settings. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social CareServices (Children and Young People's Residential Management) or equivalent is required for this role.
