Job Description - Travelling Butler

Reports to the House Manager(HM)

Ensures all locations have visibility of monthly movements
- Oversees wine cellar and inventory
- Cares for Principals wardrobe when required

Oversees care of clothing

Responsible for care and presentation of wines in line with Principals requests

Assists HM with managing social events

Liaises with external organisations for Event Management when required Florist, Entertainment for example

Liaises with Gardeners to ensure garden areas are always immaculate

Daily walk of house to ensure all areas are in line with standards

Reports any faults or anomalies to House Manager

Ensures HousekeepingDept.is fully stocked

Ensure all FOH Equipment is operational

Ensure Home Automation System is operational including testing IT equipment printers etc

Manages the room to room cleaning and ensures each room has a template and associated inventory

Ensures contractors are escorted whilst working in FOH areas

Ensures terraces are set up for use by the Principals for daily use and dining etc.

Liaises with the Principals for FOH events and assists where required

Updates the Principals on FOH issues each week

Manages Butler FOH projects and fills out the project planners

Manages FOH inventory and ensures the HM is informed of updates

Seeks approval for FOH purchases from HM

Liaises with the Head Housekeeper and Chauffeur to ensure daily grocery lists are complete

Responsible for completion of the dailies in all locations when the principles are in residence

To Assist the HM in the management of Dinners and Events

To be fully conversant with all IT software

To ensure all restaurant menus are up to date and easily accessible for the Principals

To give an update and list to the HM of any issues or things that require attention or purchasing at the end of each working week

To ensure that all dry cleaning is collected on time and logged accordingly and damages reported to HM

**Salary**: 55-70k DOE
