Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for an **HR Consultant**for their Higher Education client based in London NW1. This role will be a fixed term contract for 1 year and it will be on a hybrid basis 2 - 4 days a month in office (1 Day a week)in London. This unique firm is looking for an experienced HR professional who is experienced with taking the lead with ER Cases, Change Management, HR Projects, HR lead on Change and Management of stakeholders.
This HR Advisor role sits within the Culture and Engagement Team within the People Directorate and will report to the HR Business Partner. The role will be on a 12months Fixed Term Basis with possible permanent options after the fixed term duration.

**Main Responsibilities: - HR Consultant**

The HR Consultant is part of the Culture and Engagement Team, reporting into the Head of Culture and Engagement. This team is responsible for delivery of a robust HR function for the Institute, requires excellent people management skills and the abilityto embed best practice into organisational processes.

**ROLE PURPOSE**

In this project based role the HR Consultant will provide strategic HR advice guidance and support across the organisation. This role will lead on programmes of change management including changes to policies resulting from hybrid working. The main stakeholderswill be the Higher Educational Managers and directors across the organisation as well as other members of the People team.

**DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

**Projects**
- HR Lead on organisational transformation and change programmes including partnering and coaching managers through change. This involves change management within the organisation culture and structure.
- HR Lead on Turing's performance management process and career path guidance. This will involve overseeing the submission of objectives and review and preparing and analysing data for salary review panel
- Analyse and support performance review outcomes.
- Identifying and updating Turing policies following the move to dual workplace under Hybrid changes

**Employee Relations**
- Deliver high level, operational advice across a range of HR processes including discipline, grievance, organisational change management including policy reviews grading and Equality Diversity and Inclusion.
- To take ownership of complex employee relations cases where expertise is required to minimise risk, including working closely with the Head of Culture and Engagement to manage high risk cases up to and including employment tribunals
- Consistent and best practice approach to managing employee relations, ensuring that accountabilities and responsibilities are clear
- Act as an employment legal expert and provide timely advice on matters, following up with managers to ensure intervention is successful
- Ensure that current employment law and HR best practice is embedded into all the Institute's policies and business processes

**Other duties**
- Support the wider team with HERA job evaluation

**Experience Required:

- HRConsultant**

**Essential**:

- Graduate **(MUST)**

** CIPD or equiv HR Qualifications **(MUST)**
- 5years + HR Consultant level **(MUST)**

**ER, Change Management, HR Project work and up-to-date with current legislation **(MUST)**

This **HR Consultant**role, is a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract position based in London, starting ASAP working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30.
The Salary will be paying £50,000 + Excellent Benefits. The role will be a Hybrid role, 2 - 4 days a Month in Office (1 a week) After training.
