**Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, with a Salary between £24 - £25k**

**The Role**
- The main purpose of this role will require your dedication to train and develop into the role of a Freight Forwarder. You will be committed to learn and gain the key skills required to enable you to become a trusted member of the team, giving you the ability to contribute to the ongoing success of this successful business.

**Main duties and responsibilities**- Undertake both internal and external training to develop your skills in building and maintaining an optimal operating platform to support current and future Global forwarding business.-
- Work towards gaining knowledge and know-how of shipping compliance, legislation, and company best practices.-
- Gain the ability to co-ordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics of oversized and complicated international shipments, which will include air, sea, road, and charter.-
- Become proficient in liaisons with clients to understand their shipping needs to enable you to be able to provide tailored solutions and resolve any problems efficiently.-
- Being tech savvy, you will learn how to prepare and process shipping documentation related to international freight operations, including the accurate maintenance of these records.-
- You will be trained to track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise, whilst complying with relevant laws, regulations and standards associated with the shipping industry.**What you will have/be**- Drive, enthusiasm, and ambition is a must to succeed in this role.-
- No experience is necessary as full training will be given.-
- A positive approach with a willingness to learn new skills.-
- Confidence and ability to communicate verbally and written with both clients and team members.-
- A can-do attitude and desire to contribute to the ongoing success of this organisation.-
- Proficiency MS Office Suite and desire to learn shipping software and ERP systems.-
- A reliable team player who can demonstrate attention to detail with the ability to ‘Think outside of the box’.-
