**About the role**:
Daily duties and requirements include:

- Making Wine/Perry fermentations and fining.
- Fortification of base wines.
- Making wines for finished product.
- Receipt and off-loading of tankers for imported wines.
- Cleaning of tank rooms, cleaning & sterilisation of equipment, machinery and storage vessels.
- Preparation of sheet filters and preparation and cleaning of cross flow filters
- Completion of receipt and despatch paperwork as appropriate
- Bulk sparging of wines & operation of the K+H carbonator.
- Filtering and pumping of wine.
- Additioning and Weighing.
- Stock control - Physical checking and inputting data onto SAGE.
- Handling of organic wines.
- Ensuring ingredient traceability.

**About You**:
**You will have strong evidence of the following key skills & competencies**:

- Previous experience of working in food manufacturing
- Experience of fermentation and/or bulk liquid handling preferable
- Awareness of health & safety and hygiene practices
- Excellent team-working
- Adaptability/ability to learn
- High standards of work & attention to detail
- Previous experience using chemicals is not essential but would be an advantage.

**Salary**: £10.42-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
