**About The Role**:
As a CCTV Operator, the main communication vehicle for the site relating to emergency situations, routine monitoring of all safety/fire/life safety systems, car parks, interior and exterior for The Mall, exterior for Retail Parks and Venue Entertainment Complex.

You will be working on a variable shift, 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off, on a permanent full-time, 00:00 to 23:30, 40 hours per week.

The shift pattern includes days, nights, and weekends.

**You will also**:

- Monitor CCTV in an organised and systematic fashion to ensure the safety of public, staff and contractors
- Communicate and manage the FM Radio System.
- Monitor all life safety systems including but not limited to the fire alarm system, intruder system, sprinkler system, etc. Initiate actions to protect life and structure as required by the life safety systems which may include but not limited to evacuations, search plans, etc
- Answer and direct all enquiries, which come via the Intercom and Telephone Systems efficiently, effectively and professionally.
- Produce reports on false alarms and response times.
- Accurately record events/incidents/evacuations/ in the occurrence book to ensure the site has an accurate scribe of all activities.
- Provide a superior, proactive, personalised level of service to visitors, retailers and contractors to The Mall and surrounding sites within Cribbs Causeway. Be observant and take action to provide a safe and secure shopping environment. Possess the ability to provide results or resolutions to problems with a positive and courteous manner.
- Undertake to adhere to all Health and Safety requirements, fire regulations, company policies and on-site procedures relating to these matters and undertake first aid at work course as required.
- Other duties as and when required as requested by a senior member of staff working for Incentive FM or CBRE.

**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- Must be educated to O’Level /GCSE or NVQ level 3 standard.
- Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
- Must hold a valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) Licence
- First Aid at Work Certificate
- SIA Guarding or Door Supervisors licence
- IOSH managing safely
- Experience in a similar environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good I.T skills (Use of Microsoft Word. Excel, Outlook)
- Multitasking (Critical competency)
