Ballymena, United Kingdom Moore Concrete Products Ltd Full time

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise sourcing and supplier selection processes.
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the procurement function.
- Liasing with other departments e.g., production, operations, and finance to align procurement activities with business needs efficiently.
- Procure goods, materials, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Work with the Head of Procurement in managing supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards, to enable evaluation.
- Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
- Extending supplier networking by building, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships.
- Provide analysis / reports on costs for both new and existing supplier.

- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels wile minimising carrying cost.
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes, including communication and negotiation of resolution to any supply problems, which may impact the business.
- Management of Brexit customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to inform procurements decisions.
- Any other duties deemed necessary, agreed by Head of Procurement.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
