**About the team**

This role will support in the day-to-day administration, project compliance and reporting/tracking aspects of our programmes. This role will ensure we are delivering a skills service in line with funding guidelines, recording and storing data, maintaining our tracking and CRM tools and supporting our training providers and partners to submit accurate data returns.

You will be joining an exciting and growing team who are working hard to support our employers to create a skilled and motivated workforce to meet local business needs and provide our residents with greater career opportunities
**About the role**
- You will provide efficient and effective general administrative and project support to the Hertfordshire Skills team
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be first point of contact for our Skills Bootcamp training providers (up to 10), supporting them with daily queries on their data returns and evidence requirements
- You will support the Skills Bootcamp Programme Manager to engage with providers and partners to schedule and complete regular quality assurance checks at agreed intervals, including meeting quality assurance requirements and visits set by DfE.
- You will develop good working relationships with colleagues across the wider department (internal and external) particularly other Skills Team members
- You will undertake such additional such as:

- Updating and uploading relevant
- Supporting diary management across the Skills team
- Supporting wider Skills Delivery Team with event co-ordination, vendor research, contract administration
- Support the maintenance and further development of the provider, programme management, reporting system and database

**About you** Essential skills**:

- Experience of Administration and project management experience
- Demonstrable organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong Communication skills including report writing, presentation skills
- Relationship building, interpersonal skills
- Proficient in IT/Microsoft Office in particular Excel
- Experience of Managing data
- Experience of Working to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Evidence of working flexibly and as part of a team

**Desirable skills**:

- Experience in databases
- Prince 2 or equivalent
- Comfortable with KPIs, finance information, invoicing
- Public sector procurement
- Handling confidential information and data controller policies
- A good understanding of government skills policy or working within the public sector
