RMS are working with an industry-leading client in the Avonmouth area who specialise in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage.

Our client is looking for a Claims Handler, to take charge of the liability clearness process and invoice the right party.
- Location: Avonmouth, Bristol._

**About the role**:
A Claims handler is responsible for taking charge of the liability clearness process and invoice the right party.
- Key responsibilities are:_
- Oversee the claims, from first point of contact, investigating, evidence and making informed decisions on claim liability and outcomes.
- Support in the administration management of damage claims with internal and external stakeholders
- Financial management of the damage file, assist with cash recovery for all the damages invoices issued
- Keep accurate claims records, ensure the completeness of the IT damage management tool, produce accurate and timely documents for all aspects of the claims process
- Ensure proper administrative handling of damage files in compliance with SLA’s and the Transport quality manual.
- Provide clear, concise and accurate information of our customers, business partners and internal customers
- Supporting logistic providers and dealers in the damage process, monitor disputes, transactions and mediation litigation
- Promptly escalate any issues that may prevent a claim being settles promptly or fairly, including and suspicion over the validity of a claim.
- Minimize the amount of the damage accounts
- Develop your knowledge of the claims process and policies to become an expert in assessing claims and identifying high-risk claims.

**About You**:

- This role Is suitable for someone who comes from a claims insurance background with solid experience working on a case management system.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
