**This role may be based out of our London, Milton Keynes or MediaCityUK offices but will involve travel to the other sites, trade shows and face to face meetings with customers.**

**Main Objectives of the role**

Using our extensive Horse and Greyhound racing content portfolio:

- Create a set of products targeted at worldwide digital, retail betting and land-based gaming operators, with the appropriate pricing, sales, marketing, and operational support.
- Deliver compelling products which set SIS apart from and ahead of the competition.
- Optimise and maximise the revenues from the SIS content portfolio to benefit the rightsholders, the operators and ultimately SIS.
- Deliver the Racing product roadmap

**Reporting Lines and Key Relationships**:
The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

The role will work closely across multiple internal functions, including the Product Team, Commercial, Broadcast, Operations, Finance and Customer Operations.

The Head of Racing will also own the relationships with third party providers that support the racing product including Rights holders, Customers, The Racing Post, The Press Association, Boscasports and Vermantia.

Finally, the role will chair the Value Management Team, lead the generation, production and execution of the Racing Roadmap and be responsible for the prioritisation of all racing initiatives, recommending the prioritised initiatives to the Virtual Governance Group.

**Key Responsibilities**:
In line with the SIS Values, the main responsibilities of the Head of Racing are set out below:
Take the lead in shaping, developing, and bringing to market compelling racing product which attracts and retains digital, retail betting and gaming customers.
- Manage the SIS product portfolio both nationally and internationally to deliver the digital and retail P&L growth targets for the Company.
- Ensure that our pricing is competitive, has market cut through and enables profitable growth.
- Actively take ownership of projects agreed and lead each project initiative from inception to completion including:

- Identification, selection, and sizing of customer value propositions that will drive revenue and profit growth.
- Assign responsibility for work streams and establish clear output expectations.
- Offer support to operations and commercial teams to deliver successful market entry.
- Ensure that our pricing, propositions, and products are compliant.
- Briefing of product marketing literature to feed into marketing communications.
- Work with the commercial team to ensure that SIS product propositions are closely aligned with customer needs.
- Work with Operations to ensure that service capabilities and activities add maximum value to customer relationships.

**Content Onboarding**:

- Co-ordinating, planning and executing the injection of new horse racing and greyhound racing content including pictures and data.
- Communication with the wider business to ensure all stakeholders are aware of their roles and ensuring all next steps are followed to ensure successful onboarding.
- Ensure the content is distributed to all customers, platforms, channels in order to optimise revenues from the content.
- Sense check that all regulations and regulations are being adhered to, to protect the Business from non-compliance risk.
- Identify opportunities for improvement on how we deliver.
- Improve communications across the broader team and other stakeholders.

**Develop Product to Product relationships across key customers and operators**:
Developing relations with key stake holders across our customers’ businesses is an essential part of the role to:

- Understand an operator’s priorities.
- Gain insight into their decision make process.
- Have a clear understanding of timelines for launching new content.
- Influence the prioritisation of new content.
- Manage internal expectations around delivery timescales.

**Operator After Live Support**:
Working closely with Finance and Marketing:

- Ensuring forecasted revenues are achieved.
- Using data from live customers, ensure that the potential value of commercial proposals is accurate and in line with industry expectations.
- Identify growth opportunities with live customers.
- Share best practices gleaned from our holistic view of the marketplace with key operators to support optimal performance in their business.
- Using insight gained to support commercial/finance to evaluate opportunities.

- Competitive charging structure in line with business strategy and with external market cut through.
- Ownership of company initiatives that enhance the Racing Product
- Clear Pricing and Rate cards
