**The Role**:

- You will be working as part of a small team manufacturing a range of Soft Play Equipment used at a variety of establishments ranging from schools and nurseries to care homes and prisons. You will learn many useful skills.
- You will report to the Soft Play Supervisor and the engineering manager, assisting in the manufacture of soft play products in time for their fulfilment dates.
- The role is multiskilled and will require the use of common sense and initiative as a lot of the work we carry out is of a bespoke nature.
- Main tasks will include assisting with the marking and cutting out of fabric, upholstery duties, arranging and checking deliveries, general housekeeping with the opportunity to also sew.
- Adhere to our Health and Safety policy following our Risk Assessments and Method Statements

You will be working as part of a small team of engineers with a wealth of experience and a “Can Do” attitude. You will be part of the Companies greatest asset, providing unrivaled service levels within our industry. Being a small company, you will get to have your voice heard and be a key member of our hardworking and professional team. We try to create a laid back and relaxed atmosphere whilst keeping the emphasis on providing a busy and fulfilling career. Our team likes to have fun, with plenty of laughs and sarcasm along the way.

**The Hours**:
37.5 - 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm. There is some flexibility with the hours you work which will be discussed. You will also have the ability to work a reasonable amount of paid overtime when available.

- Full Driving License (preferably clean)
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
- Must live within an easily commutable distance of Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Advantageous if you have:

- DBS Checked
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working in a production setting
- Sewing, Upholstery, or Fabric Cutting and Marking Out
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- GCSE’s or equivalent / higher level in; Maths, Woodworking, Textiles

**Salary**: Exceeding Minimum Wage (Negotiable)
