Job Title: Receptionist/ Facility Coordinator

Location: Colliers Park, Wrexham

**Salary**: £19,000 - £21,000

Acorn Executive Search is currently recruiting the new Receptionist/ Facility Coordinator on behalf of the Football Association of Wales (FAW).

Background and Purpose of the Role:
The FAW has three National Training Centres: its Elite Centre and HQ at the Vale Resort; and two National Development Centres at Colliers Park in Wrexham and Dragon Park in Newport. The National Football Development Centre at Colliers Park is a unique football hub in a prime location which was opened as an FAW centre in 2019.

The role will be primary based on reception at Colliers Park will have a number of responsibilities in this area to ensure all users of the site are welcome and all queries are dealt with. The Receptionist/Facility Coordinator will also be responsible, as part of the facilities team, for the smooth running of Colliers Park from a day to day perspective.

Key areas of accountability and responsibility:

- Facility Management - working closely with the Operational Supervisor in a number of areas including:

- Assisting with the day to day operational functionality of the office and facility including monitoring condition and upkeep of the building.
- Assisting in opening and closing of facilities.
- Organise conference and meeting room bookings to include catering orders as required.
- Provide support to the FAW squads and staff teams
- Support the training and organisation of casual staff where required.
- Managing external queries for meeting room booking
- Key holder for the building, provide support from a security perspective as required.
- Monitoring stock levels for the site and ordering where required.

Reception duties:

- Building strong relationships with staff and external stakeholders who use Colliers Park
- Answering phones and providing customer support when able or redirecting to relevant department
- Greeting visitors as they arrive and connecting them with the appropriate party
- Keeping the front of house area tidy and organised, including the reception area, kitchen and meeting rooms
- Opening & Closing Reception
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- Dealing with all post

Administration:

- Support as needed for hotel booking and PO raising as required.
- Any other administration or facilities support as directed by the Operational Supervisor

Person Specification

Qualifications and experience:

- Proven experience working in reception in a busy office environment
- Experience of working in a sporting/leisure environment (desirable)

Skills and knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and good organisational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Basic facilities or H&S management experience (desirable)
- Experience of supervising small teams (desirable)

Role-specific requirements:

- Willingness to work flexibly and unsociable hours from time to time as and when required including evenings and weekends
- The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage
