We are looking for a Pensions Administrator to join our in-house team of 15 people, based in Bournville. You will be responsible for delivery of the day to day administration of the closed DB scheme, the Cadbury Mondelez Pension Fund.

The Pensions Team provides all aspects of pensions administration for around 7,000 deferred members and 15,000 pensioners. The Fund is closed to new entrants and future benefit accrual.

Additionally, the Pensions Team is responsible for the governance of and helping members of the DC scheme which most current employees are in.

The wider Pensions Team is also responsible for secretariat services, technical, accounting and investment and pensioner payroll, together with the day to day administration of the UK pension schemes.

**How you will contribute**
- Carry out all benefit calculations in accordance with the rules of the Fund and legislative requirements to a high degree of accuracy, utilising the administration system or other semi-automated calculation tools as required.
- Perform complex manual calculations where required to the same high degree of accuracy.
- Review other team members’ work as directed by the Team Leader.
- Provide assistance with ad hoc project work as and when required.
- Deal with queries from members, payroll, HR and external stakeholders ensuring all outbound communications are professional, technically correct and simple to understand.
- Accountable for meeting of performance targets in respect of administration duties as agreed.
- Contribute to meeting agreed Service Level Agreement targets.
- Make any necessary adjustments to pensions in payments, as required by the rules of the Fund.
- Investigate and prepare cases requiring discretionary decisions by the Trustees or under delegated authority.

- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) Preferred
- Progress towards Professional Pensions Qualification - preferred
- Sound technical knowledge/familiar with Pensions legislation - Required
- To be successful in this role you will already have an understanding of pensions and experience in a Pensions Administrator role or similar.
