Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Children Care Workers to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School.

The Grange Therapeutic School are specialist provision for boys and girls with Education Health Care Plans for social emotional and mental needs aged 8-18. We are situated in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with close access to major roads, ina Victorian country house. We have with fantastic facilities to develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of our pupils. With access to woods and lakes on site, the school has an ethos about delivering a personalised curriculumtailored to and driven by the individuals.

This home is based in Oakham, and is within commuting distance from Peterborough, Leicester, Corby, Oakham, Knossington and surrounds.

**Contracts available - Full Time Days**

**Who we are looking for**:

- Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner, or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Willingness to learn about the children and young people we support, and how to support them to reach their full potential
