**About the Trust**

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people. We also provide some specialist services for a wider population, including renal services in Medway and Maidstone and a cardiac service for all of Kent based at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Manage clinical dictation of digital dictation and administer as required.
- Transcribe consultant admin.
- Maintaining an effective filing system, including use of scanning systems.
- Prioritise workload to meet demands of the service Deal with police reports and action appropriately.
- Scan patient documents and file on patient notes as required.
- Collect and return clinic notes to the main health records once they have been appropriately tracked, participate in ensuring that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- System knowledge - Allscripts & Winscribe
- Administration experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
