**Position Overview**:
As a Production Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of our engineering projects and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to create and manage production schedules that maximize efficiency while meeting quality standards and customer expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define manufacturing processes, lead times, and resource requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses and ensure optimal material availability.
- Identify potential bottlenecks or production issues and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials and components.
- Optimize production sequences and resource allocation to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet established standards.
- Communicate production updates, issues, and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to propose

**Experience needed**:

- Proven experience as a Production Planner or similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of engineering and production processes.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Solid project management skills.
