Job Description

  • Lead the planning and execution of supply chain strategies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Manage team performance and development.
  • Analyse market trends to identify supply chain risks.
  • Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this FMCG role in Northampton you should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods.
