**Job overview**:
The primary objective of this position is to provide leadership for Digital services across the Integrated Care and community footprint aligned with the business objectives of the Northern Care Alliance (NCA), working in partnership with other agencies.

The post-holder will ensure implementation and maintenance of an appropriate infrastructure for digital and knowledge management across integrated care and the effective implementation of the digital technology required to support the delivery of appropriate targets and milestones. They will also oversee and assure Performance Management of the Operational services provided by Digital to Integrated Care.

**Main duties of the job**:
The post-holder will lead managerial involvement and engagement in digital and knowledge management developments, providing Information Governance and ensuring that the services deal with sensitive information in legal, secure, efficient and effective ways.

They will support and advise the Board and Senior Management team on digital issues.

There will be a significant requirement to work with external partners - local health organisations, neighbouring Trusts and local authorities, ensuring co-ordination and implementation of national and local programmes and priorities.

The post-holder will work with other members of the Informatics & Digital leadership team in the provision and support of community based digital services.

**Essential criteria**:

- Educated to a minimum of Master’s degree level, or equivalent post graduate qualification or equivalent level of experience within Digital
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or MSP Practitioner qualification(s)
- Evidence of management development through Continuous Professional Development and/or formal management course
- Post graduate or equivalent diploma

**Desirable criteria**:

- Degree level or equivalent qualification specifically in Digital/Informatics
- Specialist training in areas such as - Business case development and appraisal - Risk Management - Programme and Project Delivery methodologies - MS Project Planning - Change Management and Controls

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Significant relevant experience within a portfolio and PMO environment including experience of implementing projects/programmes to a defined methodology that support significant organisational change
- Senior NHS Management experience including line management responsibility for teams
- Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders with conflicting agendas
- Significant experience of developing and implementing process and procedures and delivering change and transformation
- Significant experience of working in a community/integrated care setting
