Role: CAD/CAM Programmer
Location: Northampton

**Salary**: £26,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience) + Company Package
As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will play a key part within the precision engineering company based in Northampton. They are an internationally recognised company that are now known as one of the most respected sheet metal fabrication and precision engineeringcompanies in Europe.
As a CAD/CAM Programmer, your main responsibilities will be:

- Create accurate CAD/CAM flat pattern drawings in line with client's requests.
- Monitor and document any changes to CNC programs.
- Plan geometric layout of designs and make calculations for where materials should be cut.
- Reviewing and modifying existing programs to improve efficiency.
- Create CNC programs for the laser machine and press brake and produce folding instructions and drawings for operators.
- Experience of CNC programming or a relevant CNC Programming qualification.
- Knowledge of sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office and CAD / CAM software.
- Ability to read and create engineering drawings.
- Experience with Radan or equivalent software is essential & Solid Works would be advantageous, though not essential.
