Senior Program Associate, Science Communications

**Job Description Summary**:
Do you have a passion for science and desire to contribute to scientific communications? STEMCELL is looking for a Senior Program Associate for their Science in the City program — a science communication resource that connects local researchers with their scientific community and helps them stay current with the science news, events, and jobs taking place around them.
In this role, you will work with a dynamic team to stay on top of the latest scientific advances in the Cambridge scientific community. You will publish website, newsletter, and social media content, and engage with scientific researchers online and through attendance at scientific events in the region.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, generate new content, and curate external content
- Attend local scientific meetings and events to engage with the scientific community and promote relevant programs
- Publish content on website, in newsletters, and on social media
- Monitor, report, and act on analytics related to key performance indicators
- Support regional office needs and logistics related to regional marketing - e.g. inventory, stock, and ship local conference and literature assets
**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Minimum BSc with 2-4 years work experience or MSc with 0-2 years work experience
- Knowledge of Cambridge’s scientific landscape, key institutes, organizations, and foundations would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
