Soft Fm Monitoring Assistant

Completion of monitoring activities to identify shortfall in standard delivery by the Soft FM service providers will assist with improving patient experience Be responsible for ensuring the Soft FM Service provision information provided to all users of the hospital, including patients, staff and visitors directly, is accurate, up to date and readily available in all clinical areas. This will include cleaning scores, cleaning star ratings and other documentation required to be displayed in accordance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 Be the initial contact for complaints from the wider organisation in relation to auditing processes or Soft FM service delivery The post holder will be responsible for auditing the Soft FM service delivery, particularly for cleaning, guided by legislation and standards. Whilst there is the ability to make own decisions, auditing must be carried out in line with both standards and contractual requirements. The poster holder will be part of the wider Soft FM team but will spend a large amount of the working time away from the other team members and will be expected to work independently.
Suggest improvements to monitoring activities and service delivery to both the Trusts Soft FM team and the Soft FM service providers Report monitoring findings to the Soft FM team to ensure best practice and review the services provided are in line with schedule 14 and all relevant standards Assist the wider organisation, through training and education, with understanding of the auditing processes and cleaning standards Responsible for auditing using the Soft FM team electronic resources and stationery equipment Analyse the service delivery of Soft FM contracts by monitoring the services at the point of delivery, i.e. check cleans, technical, efficacy and annual audits and provide feedback to the Soft FM team Liaise with service providers, infection control team and wards/department clinical and non-clinical representatives to arrange monitoring activities and to gain access to areas for monitoring purposes Be able to provide complex contractual information to audit attendees where there may be a difference in opinion, or lack of understanding around both the PFI Soft FM contract, or retained estates contracts Audits required in all areas of the hospital including sensitive areas such as the mortuary
