Recovery Practitioner

We at Alpha24 currently require ODP’s to work in General Hospitals in **Aberdeen.**

The ODP will receive, assess and deliver patient care on the patient's arrival into the recovery area. They will monitor the patients physiological parameters, providing appropriate interventions and treatment until the patient has recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery and is stable.

The ODP will prepare all the airway management and monitoring equipment that is necessary for the case. This includes IV fluids, difficult airway equipment and any extra invasive monitoring required.

For this role, you'll need knowledge of medicine and dentistry, patience in stressful situations, thoroughness and attention to detail, sensitivity and understanding, flexibility and openness to change, customer service skills, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.

Applicants must have the following to be considered for this role
- DBS/PVG (Must be on update service)
- Face to Face Mandatory Training + ILS (we can also organize this)
- Valid HCPC PIN
- Right to Work
- Proof of NI
- Car driver preferred but not required
