**Job brief**

**The Role**

The successful applicant will be the sole projects lead ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Co-ordinating internal resources as well as third party suppliers and contractors for the flawless execution of projects. The position will be interesting, varied and challenging, with excellent future prospects.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the identification and planning of Customer, Commercial, hygiene, Maintenance and Health and Safety Audits
- Conducting Internal audits across the 14 stores in accordance with internal policies and procedures and relevant legislation
- Reviewing the risk register and incident log to identify areas that require further attention from internal audit
- Establishing a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks such as boilers, alarms and PAT testing.
- Execute gap analysis and create action plans to rectify issues
- Creating and collating audit reports
- Ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
- Ensuring the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
- Ensuring the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations for both staff & contractors
- Ensuring that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record in Auditing
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation/ industry best practise
- Experience within health and safety or other compliance related service
- NEBOSH qualified (but not essential)
- Experience within the financial sector
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience
- Experience with overseeing internal and legal compliance

**Skills**
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Excel
- Preferred experience with IAuditor software (but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
