Private Client Assistant

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with one of the West Midland’s leading Legal Firms. We are supporting their recruitment for an experienced Private Client Assistant to join their Stow on the Wold office on a full time, permanent basis.
This position is working Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm and you will receive a highly competitive salary, based on experience.
We are looking for a self-motivated and organised individual who can provide effective support to the Private Client department.
Private Client Assistant main duties:
- Providing full support to our Private Client Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
- Preparing correspondence using our case management system.
- Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
- Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
- Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required
Required skills and experience:
- Have experience and knowledge of working within a Private Client department.
- Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches, ID checks and other work on files without dictation.
- Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
- Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
- Have some experience in using Audio Typing
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminologies would be preferable but full training will be given.
