Working closely with the local and off-shore individuals and teams such as; Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams, your role is to ensure all OHV processes and procedures are implemented and in place to be in line with the Wabtec OHV QMS, and that the operations are supported with a hands-on leader.

This role will have periodic requirements for travel to the other Mining sites to aid in the collaborative alignment between the Service Businesses.

MAIN DUTIES- Abide by all Wabtec Company Values.- Project Lead for PPAP.- Establishes and maintains local Wabtec QMS Procedures, Policies, Registers and Regulatory and Auditing Programs.- Provides direct mentorship to production personnel to continuously improve Quality practices.- Promotes a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace.- Interfaces regularly with production personnel, support staff, and members of the leadership team during the resolution of quality issues and the implementation of corrective actions.- Participates in the development of new initiatives and solutions for continuous improvement based upon the risk of the business.- Define quality root causes, and develop/recommend corrective and preventive actions.- Measure quality KPIs with support from production personnel and members of the leadership team.- Interfaces with production personnel, support staff, and members of the leadership team during the resolution of Quality issues and the implementation of corrective actions.- Review the implementation and efficiency of QMS systems.- Investigate Incidents and non-conformance issues.- Collaborates with production personnel to identify systemic root causes for non-conformances.- Assure ongoing compliance with QMS and organization requirements.- Participates in cross-functional efforts to ensure proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.- Investigate Incidents and non-conformance issues.- Must comply with mandatory random drug & alcohol testing.- Undertake and conduct training required for the position.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & REPORTING- Maintain records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external stakeholders and bodies.- Document internal audits and other QMS activities; evaluate findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.- Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review risks associated with products and or engineering and manufacturing processes.- Performs audits in accordance with Wabtec standards, reports result, assigns and monitors follow-up actions.- Maintains Non Conformance, Document Revision, Change Management and Auditing tracking systems.- Document internal audits and other QMS activities; evaluate findings and implement appropriate. corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.- Oversee document management systems.- Participate in workplace inspections and safe work observations.- Ensure mandatory PPE is applied.- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal skills.- The ability to prioritise workloads.- Thorough and accurate with attention to detail.- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compile and present reports.- Must be able to work as part of a team, with or without supervision.- Flexibility with work hours and willingness to travel if required.

Qualifications and Experience- Tertiary Qualifications in Quality/Quality Engineering discipline, Operations, or equivalent significant Mining/Manufacturing industry experience.- ISO45001 Certification/Lead Auditor Accreditation.- Six Sigma/Lean certifications or high level of understanding would be advantageous.- Track record of building relationships, influencing and communicating with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, ana
