**Job Title: Modelshop/ Production Admin Assistant**

**JOB PURPOSE**

**To offer complete administration support to the Modelshop department, deal with suppliers from around the world sourcing, purchasing the necessary components and maintaining the Modelshop work schedule via smart sheets always ensuring quality and delivery dates are achieved. Also to assist with any warehouse administration within LN when work load permits**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Complete administration support to the Modelshop department.
- Raise purchase orders as required and obtain acknowledgements
- Liaise with suppliers from around the world to source and purchase the necessary components, always ensuring quality and delivery dates are achieved.
- Provide support to the Modelshop team to ensure production deadlines are always adhered to.
- Process Bill of Materials (BOM’s).
- Raise production works orders as and when required by the procurement team.
- To follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on agreed dates.

Education, Skills & Experience

Experienced administrator - preferably from a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Must have the ability to liaise with suppliers from around world negotiating prices and deadlines to fore fill project requirements.

Must be able to process BOM’s and Purchase orders.

Must have the desire to develop skills with the production field.

**Other**

Full Time Position 37.5 hrs per week

Salary commensurate with skills and experience
