Automotive Customer Service/receptionist

As a Customer Service Advisor you will always ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and care for vehicle servicing and repair, must be welcoming, possess the ability to Listen, show empathy and understanding of the customer’s needs.
You are the principle point of contact for all customer communication while the vehicle is in our care and will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, delivering an incredible experience to all, whether internal or external customers.
You need to be quick to identify the needs of the customers and opportunities to upsell and can work to timescales and thrive on working in a busy service department.
Alongside your customer first attitude, you will maximise sales and maintain customer retention, representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Previous experience in a Reception role would be advantageous but not essential
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Greeting visitors to the business and offering them help immediately, with assistance of other staff members where necessary. Advising customers on the best appropriate service for their requirements.
- Taking and directing telephone calls, diverting the customer to the correct department to deal with the customers enquiry.
- Create customer bookings, both external and internal, using the appropriate systems.
- Keep customers fully informed of progress and advise of extra work needed
- To achieve hours sold targets as a member of a motivated team, Ensuring the WIP is kept to a minimum (Treating everyday as month end)
- Scanning Paperwork into Management system and adding to the appropriate job.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain parts prices and availability.
- Creating estimates for Service customers where required.
- Taking payments from Customers upon collection of their vehicle following PCIDSS guidelines.
- Dealing with Warranty Companies and Lease companies.
- Ordering Stock/Consumables.
- Cashing up & Closing Reception before leaving for the day.
- Provide Holiday cover for Reception when Service Manager is away from the business.
Hours of work Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 17:30, Alternate Saturday’s 08:00 - 13:00
This role will require you to work more hours in the absence of the Service Manager
