Due to a full order book, we are now recruiting for **Welders** to join our team.

**Overview and Purpose of Role **As an important member of the Fabrication team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all steel is welded and fabricated to a high standard so that it can be progressed to the next stage of manufacturing

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Clean steel before, during and at the end of use
- Use disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding
- Weld/Fabricated steel component parts
- Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
- You will ensure that all works carried comply with quality procedures
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures
- Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs
- Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and tidy works area

**Experience & Training**
- (E) Essential Criteria_
- (D) Desirable Criteria_
- Previous experience of MIG Welding to a high standard in a work environment (E)
- Previous experience working in a heavy manufacturing/engineering environment (E)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (E)
- Proven measurement and mathematical skills (E)
- Previous of TIG Welding to a high standard in a work environment (D)
- Previous experience in the same industry (D)
