**Robotic Welder**

Our client, a leading engineering company within Tyrone, are in search of an experienced **Robotic Welder** to join their highly established team.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Programming and operating robotic welding machines to weld various parts such as car doors or truck frames
- Inspecting welds to ensure proper weld quality, especially with regard to alignment, penetration, and fusion
- Performing standard welding tasks such as spot welding, seam welding, and arc welding
- Operating machines such as grinders, presses, and shears to cut metal into desired shapes
- Adjusting equipment based on knowledge of welding processes and techniques
- Preparing work surfaces by cleaning, removing residue, and cutting materials to specified sizes or shapes
- Operating machines such as grinders, presses, and shears to cut metal into desired shapes
- Installing or removing parts on equipment, such as cranes or forklifts
- Repairing or replacing malfunctioning equipment parts such as motors or sensors

**Essential Criteria**:

- Welding Qualification or Equivalent in Welding with proven previous experience of working in a busy engineering setting
- Excellent knowledge of CAD
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Experience communication both written and verbal

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
