**Head of Supply Chain & Procurement (Sub-Contract Manufacturing Partnerships)**

**Hybrid/Essex**

Here is an opportunity to take a lead role in revolutionising precision machining supply chains, putting you at the forefront of sector wide digitalisation.

I have a great opportunity for a seasoned Head of Supply Chain & Procurement to understand the corporate business plan, then design and execute the first supply chain strategy to achieve exponential growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will lead, grow & coach your 6 direct reports, which include OTIF Project Managers, SQE's, Procurement Manager, buying team, admin and logistics.
- Take a lead in the development of the company subcontracting model growth targets and lead high level negotiations, building key relationships at a senior level.
- Define and drive the commercial aspects of contract placements.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes and to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
- Design or implement supply chains that support environmental policies.
- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
- Design or implement factory warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimise customer service.

**Requirements**:

- You will have procured, and managed effective relationships with subcontract manufactured, engineered, and precision machined component suppliers.
- Experience of leading successful teams on a rapid scaling journey.
- Previous responsibility for Supply Chain spend in the range £10m - £100m.
- Experience in facilitating and participating in the design of Distribution processes and infrastructure.
- Business degree level e.g. Advanced Analytics and Supply Chain Analytics or equivalent.
- Experience in defining, developing and integrating critical supply chain technology systems (ERP) - INFOR exposure would be desirable.
- Proven experience in change management in a business transformation journey.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
