**Job overview**:
The Complex Emotional Difficulties Team (CEDT) is well-established and respected, with a history of developing innovative models of care. It offers mainly CAT and DBT as our two evidence-based therapies, and links closely with the Community Mental Health Teams, encouraging the delivery of ‘core interventions’ and DBT-skills.

The team run a weekly consultation clinic for colleagues considering making a referral or looking for some specialist supervision. There are also links with inpatient wards. The service has worked hard to be flexible in responding to diverse needs, whilst at the same time maintaining clarity of purpose and adherence to the predominant models of DBT and CAT.

Community Transformation is underway and is allowing us to review and expand what we deliver. So we are seeking an experienced therapist, also willing to train in our other models, and keen to supervise others.

We would like this to be a full time post, but will explore other options. Some travel is likely. Ideally you will already be an accredited DBT therapist. You may be in-training. Depending on interest in the post, we would consider someone with the right qualities who could begin their training.

An advert can only tell you so much, so if you are interested in this post and feel that you have the skills and passion for this work that we are looking for, please get in touch and we will happily fill in the gaps.

**Main duties of the job**:
Work as a member of our team, contributing to consultation, assessment, therapy and evaluation.

Primarily to deliver Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), across all modalities.

Training, integration and delivery of other approaches is a possibility - namely DBT-skills, KUF training. family connections, Structured Clinical Management, and RO-DBT as part of the 'universal offer' taking place through transformation.

Liaison, supervision, support and training of our colleagues across the
service.

If required, support to develop the skill and experience to move into a DBT supervisor role (b7) when one became available.

**Working for our organisation**:
We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental
