Brandon Hire Station have a great opportunity for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our new central operational workshop team and help us keep our vast catalogue of rental equipment in top condition ready for hire.

**About the role**

As a Workshop Supervisor in our central workshop based in Loughborough your main responsibility is to assess and repair the extensive Brandon Hire Station rental assets so our customers can have the equipment they need on time, when they need it. This role is pivotal in the performance of the wider national operation and as such is key to maximising output and efficiency.

**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure all assets are safely repaired
- Take a proactive approach to ensuring repaired assets are ready to hire
- Assess if the asset is financially viable for repair
- Ensure all records are completed accurately and in line with company procedures
- Adhere to H&S rules / procedures at all times
- Manage and record data e.g. time allocation and spares used, stock needed
- Assist with and attend stock takes as required

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience of working with machinery and tools, both mechanical and electrical including petrol and diesel engines
- Organised and methodical approach to work, taking pride in delivery
- Comfortable using IT equipment
- Awareness of the importance of quality and efficiency in the assessment and repair of assets
- ‘Can do’ attitude to work and helping others where and when needed
- Mechanical / electrical qualification (desirable not essential)
