Pharmacy Operative

Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.

**What your typical day will look like**
- Stock control including stock ordering, arriving stock, stock rotation, managing stock levels, managing expired drugs, stock takes etc.
- Manage stock related records.
- Dispensing repeat prescriptions including processing written prescriptions.
- Dispensing of flea and worm treatments.
- Maintaining ordering system and pre-payments of medications.
- Controlled drug orders and Special order items.
- Management of all consumables.
- Controlling ordered medications including flea and worm treatments.
- Manage post to home system.

**This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 10:00am till 18:30pm and salary of £26,500 per annum**

**The attributes required**
- You are the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
- You are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available. You are calm, attentive, and always focus on the clients’ needs.
- We would expect you to work towards an SQP qualification within a reasonable timescale which will enhance your salary.
