Do you want to work for an organisation that supports work life balance? If so, we may have a really exciting opportunity to join our Care and Support Team as a Supported Housing Officer.

To succeed in the role, you will need to have experience in a housing role with particular understanding of supported housing provision. You will be expected to have a clean driving licence and use of a personal vehicle for which you will claim mileage. You must have good IT skills to be able to input and extract data. You will have excellent communication skills to tackle difficult and sensitive issues, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have organisational skills with the ability to work without close supervision.

As a Supported Housing Officer, you will provide the delivery of housing management functions in a supported housing setting across Citizen’s operational areas.

In conjunction with the Supported Housing Co-ordinator, you will provide a high-quality service to ensure that our most vulnerable customers receive high standards of care and support.
- By developing and maintaining effective working relationships with care and support providers and other partner agencies.
- Working in partnership with care and supported housing providers to ensure high standards of care and support are provided for very vulnerable customers.
- Liaising with care and support providers to oversee compliance with the terms of their management agreements.
- Ensuring that care and supported housing is safely maintained to a high standard.
- Ensuring that charges fully recover costs.

**As Supported Housing Officer, we need you to**:

- Have an excellent approach to customer service with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
- Be decisive, observant, enthusiastic, diplomatic, adaptable, quick thinking, innovative and customer focussed.
- Have excellent I.T Skills
- Have the ability to develop successful professional relationships with care and support partners to achieve positive outcomes.
- Have good organisational skills and take ownership of situations.
- Have a willingness and ability to work flexibly and to attend meetings and other events outside normal business hours to meet the needs of the service.
- Be highly self-motivated, able to act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm.
- Have a current clean driving licence and access to a car to cover all geographical areas if required.
