Teaching Personnel support a SEN School in Preston which caters for pupils aged 4-11 years with complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties and SEN. May pupils who attend this school tend to display challenging behaviours and may display oppositionaldefiance behaviours. Many pupils have previously had a bad experience within education, therefore, there may be large gaps within their education, and many will have a negative perspective on their education.

The HLTA role will include:

- Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis who is new to the school
- Mentor the pupil
- De-escalate challenging situations
- Provide positive encouragement for the pupil
- Help them to adapt to the new school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
