Community and Events Fundraiser

The charity have been established for many years and they are passionate about what they stand for and who they help. This role is a key hire for them, and the role of Fundraiser is to raise awareness locally for the charity, proactively raise money for the charity and build strong relationships with local people and businesses.
Location: Wirral office 3 days, home based 2 days
**Salary**: Up to £28,000 per annum
Hours : 35 per week - Monday to Friday 9-5pm
**Overview of responsibilities**
- Creating an events plan of local fundraising activities
- Working on annual events which take place each year - collaborating with other local charities and businesses
- Building a local presence by being visible in the community
- Attending your charity events and generating as much revenue as possible
- Talking at schools and local clubs to raise awareness
- Supporting with 3rd party events e.g Sponsored runs
- Taking part in local networking events
- Planning, organising and executing various fundraisers including supermarket donation days, talent competitions, raffles etc Educating local people and businesses on the charity, the work you do, and how the money raised will impact peoples lives**Benefits**:

Ideal Experience Must be an outgoing, confident individual who enjoys meeting and speaking with people Ideally will have worked in a fundraising/recruitment role previously Event and community experience preferable Flexible to work evenings and weekends (only when required for an event) Driving License This is a truly rewarding role for someone, and the team you'll be joining are fantastic. This role carries a lot of autonomy, so you can come in and really make the role your own - with the support of your Manager.
