**Regional HR Advisor - Logistics / Supply Chain**

**Fixed Term Contract to end of December 2023**

**Location: South Wales & South-West / WFH**

**Salary: £30-40,000 + car/allowance + bonus**

The Regional HR Advisor implements HR solutions that enable the business to successfully achieve its objectives. Partnering with the Supply Chain, Transport and Sales teams you will consult, execute and monitor HR strategies and programs, including performancemanagement, talent management, workforce planning, development, and succession planning. The Regional HR Advisor, reporting directly into the HR Director, works closely with the broader HR team to deliver high quality solutions and provides guidance and coachingto other HR staff and regional operational and sales teams. You will also be responsible for delivering nationwide projects around standardisation of policy and process.

Provides human resources leadership, coaching, guidance and consultancy to a regional leadership team. Responsible for implementing and operationalising human resources policies and activities, including, but not limited to, guidance on employee relations,Company policies and philosophies, recruitment, performance management, compensation, organisational change, development, and human resources systems.

**The role**:

- Consults with business leaders to diagnose current and future HR needs and develop a strategy for resolution.
- Collaborates with the HR team to implement and monitor HR solutions, strategy and Company branding.
- Leads and supports the implementation of HR strategies, objectives and processes that are fully aligned with the overall function/business strategy and the HR strategy.
- Works with the function/business on people/workforce strategies, helping develop high potential talent and supporting a high performance culture.
- Consult with business leaders to identify future leadership talent building out both development and succession plans.
- Responsible for ensuring business relevance of HR services offered, serving as the lead HR for the business/function or region
- Able to balance "lead" role/face of HR with the business/function while at the same time ensuring delivering direct engagement and support
- Directly supports the business/function leader(s) with advice and coaching, being seen as a "trusted advisor" specifically being able to objectively assess, influence and push back when necessary
- Brings dashboards and metrics to the conversation and applies data judgment to drive recommendations.
- Ultimately responsible to the business for quality and performance of all HR services provided.
- Able to run and analyse reports, building out a strategy and/or approach to proactively assist business leaders.
- Partners with leaders on employee relation issues, including recommendations for investigations, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans and terminations.
- Regular, in-person attendance and participation in designated department meetings (DRM, Leadership) as evidenced by being considered an integral part of the team.
- Ensures compliance on Company policies operating within the UK’s legal framework.
- Provides coaching and development to department leaders.
- Drive culture to integrate Company values in all aspects of the business.
- Collaborates with operations leadership to anticipate and plan for long term human resources needs and trends
- Receives employee relations complaints, researches and conducts necessary investigations, secures appropriate documentation and makes recommendations to resolve the complaints based on the investigation findings.
- Advises Operations Managers regarding disciplinary actions and terminations, reviews reasoning and documentation, makes recommendations for appropriate actions accordingly
- Develops and creates presentations and/or training materials for human resources topics.
- Regularly visits all sites in designated region
- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management

**The person**:

- CIPD L3 qualified, or working towards L5 as a minimum
- Proven HR generalist experience ideally in a regional role
- Coaching and development skills
- Able to build and sustain strong relationships with peers and client business leaders.
- Able to manage highly sensitive matters whilst maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
- Strong teamworking skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS system, preferably SAP
