**British Gymnastics has the following permanent full-time post**:
**Events Systems Coordinator**

**37 hours per week, Salary £21,226.00 per annum, 39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) 2 wellbeing days a year weekly exercise and wellbeing hours**

**This role is based at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire.**

**The Role**

The overall purpose of this role is to provide support to the events team, including maintaining effective communication with Technical Committees (TCs). To develop/build the on-line entry system, facilitate on-line entry to competitions and support the delivery of the results services at nominated events. Supporting the development of Event Systems within the Department to provide an efficient and effective customer service experience to British Gymnastics members.
Main Responsibilities;
Supporting the administration of finances, processing all event expenditure through eBIS

Where appropriate supporting event planning

Supporting internal meetings, event preparation and general administration
Co-ordinating accommodation requirements for event officials and volunteers and producing/co-ordinating any documents required for events e.g. passes, visitor packs, tickets, forms, notices etc.

Liaising with line manager/events team to produce an effective and timely programme of work to ensure that all event actions are met

Working with Event Managers to establish the specifications for all the events and recording them on the loading these specifications onto the events management system

Working with event managers and event co-ordinators/officers to input data to the event management system at each stage of planning (names of officials, arrival times of contractors etc)

Working with Event Managers to establish the rules, criteria and deadlines for their respective events programme

Working with Event Managers to develop the competition handbook for each discipline and publishingon web (including updates)

Maintaining the information on the British Gymnastics website relating to events department (documents, web calendar, live events pages etc)

Working with BG Score to transfer entry data from the online entry system to the scoring system

Producing system reports, alerts and reminders to support the events department staff and customers (clubs/coaches entering competitions, TC competition organisers) to improve their experience of the system

Supporting the planning, creation, development, improvement, troubleshooting and delivery of the British Gymnastics Ticket system

** The Person**
- This role requires the holder to understand and demonstrate effective customer service and communication skills; to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills; to have good administration skills/intermediate IT skills and an aptitude for IT systems, accounts processing functions etc; and a willingness to undertake a broad range of duties, as dictated by the work programme or as delegated.
- It would be advantageous if the role holder had knowledge of the gymnastics disciplines and competition structure; the competition calendar, competition handbooks, TCs and Event Organisers; and a basic understanding of accounts processing functions., however this is not essential.
