Working for NYC as a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor, you will have caretaking and cleaning duties including the opening and closing of buildings, minor repairs, and cleaning.

Travelling in Ryedale, York and the surrounding area you will visit multiple sites mornings and evenings as required, providing cover in the absence of a Site Supervisor, Caretaker or Cleaner.

Part of the role will be to supervise cleaning staff working at various locations, which would include schools, offices, and libraries throughout Ryedale, York and surrounding areas.

This is a varied role where we would provide you with the vehicle with no fuel or running costs, a competitive hourly rate, which is applied from when you leave home to when you return at the end of your shift, as well as 28 days holiday (rising to 34 days after 5 years’ service) plus Bank Holidays, excellent Local Government Pension Scheme, access to a range of benefits and discounts including green car scheme, childcare vouchers and home technology scheme.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.

This is a 37 hour per week post and overtime is available.

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours is key part of the role.

Full training will be provided AND there is no weekend work.
