Live in Carer

please note this job is a 2 week rotational shift pattern
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need of care. Your role will involve various duties to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

Skills:

• Experience in home care or similar caregiving roles is preferred
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals of all ages
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Skills (preferred):

• Experience in childcare or working with children
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of first aid procedures
• Background in nursing or experience in a nursing home setting
• Experience in senior care
