The role will involve supporting the finance department with the day-to-day accounting functions, as well as office administration in a fast-paced workshop environment.

**Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include**:

- Maintain sales ledger and accounts receivable
- Monitoring credit scores
- Maintain purchase ledger and reconciling statements for payment
- Sign off invoices against deliveries
- Raise invoice queries and chase credit notes
- Intercompany recharges
- Manage Company utilities across all sites
- Assisting with payroll and recording of hours
- Raise purchase orders
- Taking care of administration tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing

**Required Experience**:

- 5 GCSE's A-C grade including Maths and English
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in an accounts department
- Experience of Sage 50 and Xero would be preferred
- Good communication skills
- Strong administrations skills
- Ability to work independently
