Opportunity knocks for an experienced Accounts Assistant professional Our client is looking for a diligent and highly organised individual to join their Finance team. As the Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland, you will be playing a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company.

* Office-based role in Tamworth

* Full management of Accounts Payable

* Working 08:15 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday / 08:00 - 12:30 Friday

* As the Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland, your responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining and updating the accounts payable ledger

* Generating financial statements and reports for both the UK and Ireland

* Tracking ongoing payments and monitoring company expenditures

* Negotiating with vendors and service providers to secure discounts

* Ensuring payment credits are applied correctly and corresponding with vendors regarding billing payments

The ideal Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland candidate should have:

* Proficiency with SAP

* Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word

* The Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland role comes with an annual salary between £25,000 and £26,000. This role is office-based, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment in Tamworth. They offer a competitive pension scheme and additional holiday day (33 days per annum).
