An established specialist HVAC equipment manufacturing company based in Gillingham, have an opportunity to welcome a Proposals Co-ordinator within their busy and friendly proposals department - to work in partnership with the Internal Proposals Engineers and External Sales Engineers, developing the company’s sales portfolio across a range of international markets.

**Duties include**:

- Acting as a first point of contact to clients, representing the company in a positive, professional and productive manner.
- Working alongside internal Proposals Engineers and External Sales Engineers to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and the best value solution for each project is engineered.
- Processing incoming client enquires using a consultative approach to understand and maximise the potential of every client and every project, whilst building strong customer relationships.
- Providing accurate quotations and technical documentation on computerised systems.
- Professionally handling all queries to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Supporting the ongoing continuous improvement programme, engaging in the review and development of the pricing process, setting margins and discounts collaboratively with the Proposals Manager and Sales & Marketing Director.
- Carrying out any other reasonable requests of the management team and Directors
- Previous experience of working in a sales office environment in an internal sales / customer service role.
- Experience and confidence working with IT systems, ensuring timely and accurate information entry.
- Excellent command and use of the English language for both verbal and written communication skills with clients, sub suppliers and colleagues
- Strong abilities to multitask and prioritise to meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
- The desire to exceed targets and KPIs.
- A quick mind to manage complaints and problem solving, learning the product range in order to provide technical solutions.
- Experience in the HVAC industry would be an advantage, however ongoing detailed product training and support will be given.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Part-time hours: 25-37 per week

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
