In-house Technical Sales Executive Needed

Our client specialise in the design and manufacture of Mains Power Distribution Units (also called power bars or power strips) and are an established supplier to leading companies in domestic, commercial, retail & industrial sectors throughout the UK andworldwide. They are looking for an In-house Technical Sales Executive to join their fantastic team

For over 20 years they have operated from modern and well-appointed premises in North West London. This has given them the room to expand with ever increasing production so that all their product ranges are designed and manufactured here. Their in-housefacilities include metal shop, spray shop, assembly area, inspection and testing facility, packaging, dispatch, stores and a Research & Development office.

**The Role / Main Responsibilities**:

- Administering Sales Orders, communicating delivery dates to customers, organising shipping and producing and sending quotations
- Answering incoming calls to support customers (including technical queries)
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and expanding the customer base by adding new customers to the business
- Closing open quotations, managing projects and chasing sales opportunities
- Making outbound sales calls proactively for potential customers
- Attending customer meetings, assisting with Trade shows and exhibition

**Experience / Skills required**:

- Electrical / Electronic Qualifications or experience
- Experience with a basic technical drawing software like Visio (desirable)
- Previous Sales Order Processing / customer service experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar Sales Order Processing software (desirable)
- Self-motivated
- Being analytical, creative and self-driven
- Good teamwork and networking
- Personal organisation
- Ability to travel with occasional overnight visits away from home
- Live within commuting distance of Stanmore

**Position Details**:

- Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:30
- 4 weeks holiday
