We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Skegness and the surrounding area.

You will be someone who takes a hands-on approach, helping customers to manage their tenancies and improve our neighbourhoods for everyone. Most of your time you will be out and about in your patch, working closely with customers to promote sustainable tenancies, and developing strong relationships with local communities.

**What you could be doing as one of our Neighbourhood Officers**:
The Neighbourhood Officer will be responsible for visiting customers providing advice, reviewing tenancies and identifying any problems. You will be regularly inspecting our estates, raising, reporting and monitoring to a successful conclusion any health and safety or safeguarding concerns.

You will also be responsible for playing a key role in developing strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues.

Other key responsibilities include managing and investigating tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns. You will also undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.

**Some things we need from you**:

- Experience of working in housing management would be desirable, however we would also welcome other applicants who have a commitment and passion for social housing.
- This will be a role well suited to someone with experience of working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
- We are looking for someone who has experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- You will be proactive in your approach, organised and have the ability prioritise your time to meet timeframes.
- You will have excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
- This role involves regular travel around Skegness and the surrounding area. A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential.
- This role will require a basic DBS check.
