We are looking to recruit a part time Handy Person to join our team at Orchard House.

We are a friendly 31 bedded nursing home, we care for residents with a variety of needs including Dementia.

We require a practical person who is reliable, a good timekeeper and a team player. We require a person with a can do attitude and someone who understands confidentiality. We require a person who has an understanding of the environment that they will be working in.

A DBS check will be required.

You will be required to undertake the following tasks:
Decorating a room

Repairing a wheelchair

Have a reasonable level of carpentry and be able to assemble flat packs

An understanding of elecrrical appliances

Basic level of plumbing

**Job Types**: Part-time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£10.90 per hour

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sutton Coldfield, B75 6DS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
