Dovehaven are an established and growing business whose main objective is to provide the best possible care for our residents. To facilitate excellent IT infrastucture in our homes and at Head Office, we have an exciting new role for a Head of IT and Digital Transformation that has become available.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
The Head of IT and DT is an exciting role, and we are looking for somebody who has a good technical knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure but is also a strong change leader as bringing our people on the journey to digitise Dovehaven is a key objective.

This is a multifaceted role and requires an individual with the skills to manage a broad range of activities and projects from the tactical day to day to the strategic plan.
- Develop and facilitate a change management programme for enterprise IT and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business leaders and managers on the most effective methods for governing and maintaining the business technology operations and develop solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Develop and implement information security strategies to protect the business in an evolving residential care environment.
- Deep knowledge of the following is essential: Microsoft Systems at Enterprise and Workstation Levels, Virtualisation Technologies, Network infrastructure at LAN, WAN and Multi-Site Internet / Intranet levels, Security of Connected Services, Cloud Based Services and Remote Services, Cybersecurity prevention methodologies at desktop, server and mobile level, Secure and efficient management of users; remote and on-site, Setup, Maintenance and Distribution of secured Wireless and Wired technologies, Management of Cloud Services for Users and Services
- Development of policy and guidance to support all team activities, ensuring they are always conducted in a compliant and risk-managed fashion. Communication of findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner, focusing on pragmatic and cost-effective solutions and options.
- Managing the prioritisation, allocation, and quality of external supplier capability effort to support product and project teams, within the scope of the relevant IT Service Management capabilities, including budget management.
- Development and implementation of tools and techniques to automate business systems and processes, providing continuous assurance that systems are delivering to business requirements.
- Leading on knowledge transfer to other operational and non-operational teams to help build an understanding of IT service governance and embedding a culture of customer service in the business.
- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of policies i.e. recycling of electronic components, meeting industry standards for cyber security, collection of data etc.
- Effective budget management ensuring that investments in technologies drive business value and deliver the agreed strategy for IT governance, using where necessary suppliers and contractors effectively to augment and enhance the business team’s capabilities. Supervise, measure, and hold accountable, third-party suppliers who are providing services and help to integrate and improve the combined operational governance as a result.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and people centred change.
- Good working knowledge of GDPR and assurance that Dovehaven has the necessary policies and processes in place to meet their GDPR obligations.
- Membership of the Senior and Operational leadership teams.
