**About You**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer with a focus on UX/UI design to join our organisation. You will be a mid-weight designer with 2-3 years’ experience, who’s used to working within a collaborative creative team within a fast-paced marketing department or agency environment. You will possess a blend of traditional print and design experience along with a strong working knowledge of digital media and user-centred design principles.

**About The Role**

We are looking for a highly creative and versatile mid-weight graphic designer based full time at our Head Office location in Southport, in the North-West of England. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will work closely with marketing team members and business managers to craft captivating content and user experiences across a variety of channels, including traditional print media and websites. You will have the opportunity for personal development as we strive for professional growth within our dynamic and expanding organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting user research and collaborating with UX designers to understand user needs and design information architecture for websites.
- Creating visually appealing and user-centric UI elements for websites, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
- Day-to-day management of external suppliers and vendors, working to agreed budgets and timescales.
- Making recommendations for best practice for any design-related Marketing activity and putting forward new ideas.
- Providing Marketing administration support as required.

**What We Expect From You**
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- A well-developed and creative portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including website mock-ups or prototypes.
- Knowledge of current trends in design, marketing, and user experience (UX).
- Knowledge of web development within an agile team (good experience in WordPress preferable).
- Ability to read and understand HTML and CSS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to sell new ideas to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle several projects at once.
- A flexible approach and adaptability to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
