**Salary**: up to £50k dependent on experience + excellent benefits (28 days holiday + stats, enhanced pension (12%), private medical cover)
Hybrid working - 2 days working from home each week (flexible to suit)
Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in the Blackburn area. Due to a recent restructure a new opportunity has presented itself in the finance team. Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner you will take full responsibility for forecasting, business reviews, data analysis and managing new business tenders. The company are a global business offering fantastic opportunities internally, we have recruited a number of finance people over the last 3 years due to their growth and they offer a fantastic team and working environment.
We are looking for a newly qualified/finalist with experience in a commercial role who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive business
Role:
- Support the process of forecasting, business reviews and monitoring of data trends. Focussing on areas prioritised & identified as vital, drawing and presenting conclusions
- Ensure that key contacts have the support to decide upon and implement business decisions - always data driven
- Build urgent/ad hoc reports and analysis within the commercial activity scope
- Closely supervise and give recommendations upon key commercial variances (price, volume, mix) vs prior year and vs forecast
- Ensure attendance at all key commercial meetings for area, supporting with financial measures, analysis, insights & as a sounding board for the commercial team
- Work part of project team for opening and acquisition of new stores
- Management of new business tenders and existing Commercial contracts
**Experience**:
- ACCA/CIMA newly qualified Accountant/finalist
- Commercial experience essential.
- Ability to analyse complex information and propose recommendations - confident in your ability
- Advanced Excel skills
