RicNic is looking to recruit a part time Outreach Co-ordinator to support the delivery of our creative projects across community and school settings in the coming months. Joining our small and friendly staff team, the role will include
- leading the delivery of weekly sessions (Friday afternoons) with some our young people, supporting them to devise and deliver their own creative events for their local community,
- leading some holiday sessions with our young people during the summer holidays, creating play-in-a-day style workshops for different age groups
- leading creative workshops in schools as part of our funded projects including some regular sessions on a Monday afternoon
- co-ordinating our Community Art Days across local community settings
- supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of our funded projects by providing administrative support liaising with schools and community groups in different areas, scheduling workshop dates and collecting feedback from participants, parents or teachers
The role is a hybrid-remote opportunity, with the postholder required to be onsite for weekly, regular sessions in Walsall, West Midlands and able to travel to different workshop locations as and when required. The relevant projects will be delivered across Walsall, Sandwell, Staffordshire and Cheshire East. Admin and planning tasks can be worked remotely. Hours of work are fixed for the regular sessions but can otherwise be used flexibly.

**About Us**
RicNic is a youth arts charity which provides children and young people with opportunities to get involved in creative projects, developing their confidence, skills and leadership experiences. Originally established by students in Winchester in 2004, RicNic has grown to become an established charity covering multiple locations. Today the majority of our work is delivered across the Midlands and Staffordshire to young people aged 5-25.
We run a 4-strand programme of activity covering workshops, creative training, production opportunities and paid-placements for aspiring young creatives. All of our work is based on a youth-led approach, offering our participants the chance to take ownership of our projects from running short activities to producing full-scale theatre productions themselves.
We do not currently have a fixed office base and all of our staff work from home, unless out delivering workshops or youth training. Our regular, weekly sessions currently run at Manor Farm Community Association, Rushall.
